This unique material is some of the most beautiful Tourmaline I've seen. There have been crystals of this material on the market for a few years, but rarely are they clean enough to cut stones. The stone shows an imperial green color face up and shows up well in strong light. The stone is virtually eye clean with a lovely "Rectangle" cut. It doesn't get much more green than this, and the color is caused by the presence of chromium, a strong chromophore in the gem world.
