Item Description

Pollucite is a very rare cesium bearing zeolite mineral, and one of the very few facettable Zeolites in the world. Cut stones are extremely rare, and are highly sought after by collectors. Strangely, this Zeolite is most often found in granitic pegmatites as opposed to Igneous deposits like most Zeolites. Recently, a handful of fine gem quality Pollucites have been found in Burma (Myanmar), and we were fortunate enough to get our hands on a few. This gem is a very attractive, good sized, slightly included, colorless stone with an "Oval" cut. This material is prized for its rarity, and all great rare stone collections need to have a good Pollucite in them. You migth have seen faceted Pollucite stones from Afghanistan in the past, but this is rare opportunity to add a Burmese Pollucite to your collection!
