Item Description

Gaspeite is a somewhat rare carbonate named after the Gaspe Peninsula in Canada. The material is virtually always opaque, and it's typically cut into cabochons, but this is actually one of the few faceted stones of this material that I've seen. The beautiful green color of Gaspeite combined with larger sized stones makes it a very worthwhile addition to any rare gem collection. The stone is has an "Oval" cut, and even though it's opaque, it would make a great addition to any rare stone collection.
