Item Description
Chrysoprase is a nickel-bearing variety of Chalcedony (a variety of Quartz), and the best rough material in the world is found in Australia. The very best of this material is highly prized by collectors, and this gem is very good quality for Chrysoprase, as they are rarely this gemmy, especially in this size! This stone is a very attractive, rich blue-green, translucent, "Oval" cut gem with excellent consistency of color. This is old material dating back about 25 years, and seldom seen on the market today.
