Sapphire (matched pair)

The Tunduru District of Tanzania has produced some of the most impressive and colorful Sapphire gems extant. I have seen Sapphires of every color of the rainbow from Tunduru, and these stones are a great example of said material. The gems have an intense orange-red color, which are very close to being Ruby, but not quite pink enough so they are Sapphires. Now, the stones has been heated to enhance the color, but this is a very common practice when it comes to Sapphires, and perfectly safe and accepted in the gem world as long as the buyer knows is aware of it. The stones are nearly eye clean with matching "Round Brilliant" cuts. The pair would make a great addition to any suite of Sapphire gems, especially if you've been looking for that perfect color gem(s) to fill a spot in your collection to show the great range of color for Sapphire, or they would make for a wonderful pair of earrings for a great gift idea.
