Heliodor

Beryl comes in virtually every color of the rainbow. This particular gem is a good sizes, pale yellow Heliodor from the Brazilian gem fields. This stone is neary eye clean and has a standard "Emerald" cut. What's most impressive about this stone, aside from the size, is the fact that it is confirmed naturually occurring Heliodor, and has not been heated to enhance the color. Gem quality Heliodors are becoming more and more difficult to find from Brazil, even rarer than Brazilian Aquamarines or Morganites
