Item Description

Gemmy and elongated (a most unusual habit for an Ojuela Calcite), these crystals branch into a very attractive, arborescent pattern. The Calcites have an almost 'melted' appearance, with the highly lustrous surface looking almost 'wet'. Such a look enhances the gemminess, and adds great beauty to the aesthetic. #519 in Kay's collection, she acquired this very appealing miniature in 1957.
