Item Description

This intriguing combination piece is from the famous Broken Hill mining district in Australia. The Cerussite crystals average about 3.5 cm in height, and they have a mild, cream-colored fluorescence to them. The 'spires' of Cerussite are decorated by clusters of Malachite, and the form and distribution of the two minerals create a lovely aesthetic not unlike that of a rainforest and its canopy. Quite attractive, this was #967 in Kay's collection. An oldie and a goodie.
