Gemmy, mm-size Dioptase crystals decorate this Cerussite from the world-famous Tsumeb Mine. This complex Cerussite is gemmy, lustrous, and shows the early stages of classic twinning. Although there is some contacting on the Cerussite, the gemmy green, sparkling Dioptases combine with the gemmy Cerussite to create a lovely aesthetic that is even more appealing in person. #7089 in Kay's collection, she acquired this from Lidstrom's in 1973, smack in the middle of Tsumeb's heyday.
