Item Description

Nice, partial cube of Fluorite, with corners modified by the octahedron, that is included by several partial crystals of Schorl. The Fluorite has a very appealing mint-green color, with modified corners that are sharp and add much to the attractiveness. The crystal has one side that is contacted, but for the piece to have even survived the mining is a victory. The fluorescence can be two distinct shades of blue, depending on the wavelenth of the UV. The partial Schorls are highly lustrous, and add interest to the piece. The specimen is attractive, and was #12,352 in Kay's collection.
