Item Description

Choice piece of banded, rust-red Jasper from the Kandern area of Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. The polished surfaces reveal the distinct red and tan banding that is classic for the Jasper from here, and this piece is as good, if not better, than the three pieces shown in Mindat. Acquired from Al McGuinness, this was #4770 in Kay's collection.
