Stibnite on Quartz (old classic!)

Item Description

A rich, showy, old-time combination specimen of lustrous, metallic Stibnite needles nestled among stalactites of crystallized Quartz. The Stibnite crystals reach over 1 cm in length, and grow in radial clusters. The definition of the needles varies from cluster to cluster. This attractive and classic piece is likely from the ancient and historic Graf Jost-Christian Mine at Wolfsberg. Acquired from F. Krantz in 1964, this was #4130 in Kay's collection.
