Tourmaline with "cat's eye" terminations (ex Rolando Gioia Collection)

Item Description

An attractive group of prismatic Tourmaline crystals which might appear to be black, but with backlighting they reveal a strong green hue in the center. Most of the specimen passes light, but the terminations have an unusual "cat's eye" quality and a rare GOLDEN0BROWN color, which is not often seen in Tourmaline. This is older material and rarely seen on the market today. Weight on the specimen is 11.88 grams.
