Rose Quartz with Quartz

The Rose Quartz specimens from Brazil are the finest crystallized examples of this pink variety of Quartz in the world. This piece is a very aesthetic and dramatic overall specimen featuring bright pink, lustrous, hexagonal translucent pink crystals of Rose Quartz that are overgrowing off-white colored translucent Quartz fragments. Not only does the piece have excellent form and aesthetics, but it has interesting crystallization as the base of the specimen shows somewhat hollow blocky forms (possibly "casts"(?)). It's strange from the standpoint of the off-white Quartz crystals, which seemed to have formed almost simultaneously with the pink Rose Quartz as you can see they're somewhat haphazardly "floating" among the pink crystals. It's really unusual compared to most specimens of this material that we've seen.
