Item Description

A very three-dimensional and showy display specimen of rich blue-green Tourmaline flaring off of crystallized, slightly smoky, compressed Quartz crystals. The largest Tourmaline measures 4.6 cm long, but there are a few aspects to these crystals that make them so enticing. The rich color and fine GEM quality of the crystals is impressive for Tourmaline from any world locality, but that's not all. Some of these Tourmaline are amazingly "hollow" inside where all the remains in the outer rind and the inner core of the crystals are complete absent. Now not all of the Tourmalines are hollow, but the main crystal is along with a few of the smaller crystals. It's a strange phenomenon in the mineral world when the interior of a crystal is etched(?) away leaving on the exterior. A very cool, eye-catching Tourmaline specimen from this world-famous locality. Valued at $2400
