A classic and truly beautiful display specimen of the famous Manganoan Calcites from the Montreal Iron Mine in Wisconsin. This near full cabinet sized display specimen features tightly intergrown clusters of gorgeous pink colored Calcite aesthetically covering the underlying Manganite and / or Hematite matrix. The piece is in very good condition, though there are a few small contacts, so it's not 100% damage free. Hard to find on the market now in any capacity, and if you collect midwest minerals, worldwide Calcites or specifically minerals of Wisconsin, don't miss out on this one.
