Item Description

A beautiful association specimen featuring a stout predominant, 3.2 cm tetrahedron of brassy colored Chalcopyrite that is covered by dozens of small sharp, lustrous, nearly black rhombs of Calcite (which get their color from Boulangerite inclusions). To top it off, the piece is highlighted by a single milky white Quartz crystal measuring a full 6.0 cm flaring off at a nearly 45-degree angle. No serious damage that I can see, and the piece is really showy. For years we've seen the "roses" of Calcite with Boulangerite inclusions, but to have so many individual rhombs like this from Herja is rare in my experience. Good quality and hard to find on the market. Valued at $900.
