Item Description

When it comes to Creedite, the Navidad (Rodeo) Mine is second to none in terms of quality and production on a worldwide scale. This piece is a fantastic example of the newer material that has come out featuring a "burst" of colorless to rich orange colored, slender, "sword"-shaped crytals measuring up to 1.6 cm long. The larger "ball" of crystal is actually attached to a smaller radial cluster of Creedites, and I honestly can't see a point of attachment, so the piece is essentially a complete "floater" with no real point of attachment. Great quality all around, and the stunning orange color does not get the credit it deserves as they are too fresh on the market, but one day they will go down as some of the most important specimens found in Mexico in the last few decades. Valued at $1,200 in the inventory.
