Item Description

A classic multi-colored Tourmaline crystal from the famous locality at Paprok. These specimens are world renowned for their amazing size, color, quality and gemminess. This lovely crystal group features a fairly complex multi-faced pyramidal termination with a soft pink hue that gently transitions into a very slight colorless ("Achroite") zone which gives way to a mix of rich green hues throughout the rest of the prism. The specimen is complete all the way around with only a tiny bit of interrupoted growth on the reverse side where a bit of attached Albite can be seen. It's not repaired either. The striated prism faces glisten with high wet luster, and thep piece looks beautiful with backlighting or sitting on its own. Great quality and color, a wonderful example of this beloved material. Specimen weight is 14.30 grams. Priced at $1,200 in the inventory.
