Item Description

From the world famous collection of French collector, Eric Asselborn. This lovely cabinet sized specimen features a beautiful crystallized vug with loaded with rich fuchsia colored crystals of Roselite which have a sugary coating of drusy Quartz and a few "sprays" of mixed white / colorless Calcite and Quartz on the left and right sides. The left side of the piece features a semi-globular patch of dark brown Heterogenite with the same drusy Quartz coating. This is certainly not your typical Roselite from Bou Azzer, and if you're a Moroccan mineral collector, this is a cool oddball piece to add to your collection. The piece looks beautiful up close, and truly doesn't resemble many pieces I've seen from this classic locale. The color combined with the gentle sparkling luster of the drusy Quartz is not often seen from this locality.
