Item Description
A wonderfully bi-clored gemmy Kunzite from Afghanistan. The piece is actually doubly-terminated, with the majority of the prism showing a lovely pinkish-purple hue, but the termiantion shows a slightly "cat's eye" like appearance with a soft greenish-blue tone. You rarely see bi-colored Kunzite crystals from any locality, let alone crystals that are gemmy like this. The form, coloring and gemmines make it a great gem crystal from this most prolific gem producing region. It's not completely damage free, but it's still a very attractive represenation of this classic material Good crystallized Kunzites are only found in a few places on earth. The specimen was priced at $700 in the inventory. Specimen weight is 85.45 grams.
