Item Description

A dramatic, very attractive, cabinet Calcite specimen from recent finds, about 2005, at Santa Eulalia, Mexico. Sharp, lustrous, and translucent, dogtooth Calcite crystals are partially coated included with Hematite, which are gloriously penetrating through soft golden-color rhombic Calcite of a second generation of deposition. The golden crystals have striking reddish internal Hematite phantoms / inclusions on the under side. Excellent condition all around and very showy and eye-catching. The "teeth" surrounding the piece are certainly spectacular. If you collect worldwide Calcites or minerals of Mexico, don't miss out on this wonderful and impressive display specimen. Valued at $2,000 as it is better quality and size than many comparable pieces we've handled over the years.
