Item Description

These might be the most famous Fluorites from any locality in New England. These specimens are well-known among collectors for the excellent form, size, rich color and gemminess. This piece is a lovely RICH green color octahedron of Fluorite with partial surface etching that makes for an attractive small cabinet from this famous New Hampshire mine. The piece is incredibly gemmy in the center, and would yield a very good gemstone - conservatively 150 carats - which at a mere $20 per carat could easily be valued at $3,000. The piece is complete on the display side, but does show a cleavage on the back. Specimen weight is 202.81 grams (1014.05 carats).
