Item Description
Adamites from Ojuela are well-known and highly sought-after by collectors. These sprays of lustrous crystals are the classic yellow color, with an unusually robust form and smooth, glassy, real terminations. Most such crystals are composites and form radial clusters, themselves very pretty and typical. This is more unusual, however. The largest cluster is slightly over 3 cm tall and over 2.5 cm wide at the top. And of course, the Adamites display the brilliant, neon-green fluorescence that they are famous for. This is a quality, highly unusual specimen from the famous Ojuela Mine, with Adamite crystals that are larger than normal, more euhedral, and more isolated. Valued $1800-2000.
