Impressive single crystal of Aquamarine from the famous Shigar Valley in the mountains of Pakistan. The light blue color, with just a hint of green, is attractive, and the luster of the main faces, as well as the termination, is excellent. The outer centimeter of this broad crystal is quite gemmy and easily appreciated when looking at it, though the misty core makes the gemminess less obvious in the photos. There is a little bit of chatter on and around the termination, but that is to be expected as the mining process for a crystal as large as this must have been arduous. At 226g, this Aqua is both imposing and aesthetic. For the price, you cannot get this in Pakistan! Valued $2500
