Item Description

From the find in 2008 in China, this piece is loaded with very sharp, large, distinct Scorodite crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm with a dark steel blue (nearly black) color and beautifully accenting golden metallic Pyrite. The crystals are very well-formed with fine luster, and look beautiful up close. This find in the Hezhou area is the only significant find of Scorodite to hit the market in a long time. Priced at $2,400 for quality, crystal size and rarity. Scorodite is a rare mineral, especially in well-crystallized examples, and these recent specimens from China are the best specimens to hit the market in decades.
