A great quality 6-inch stalactitic Malachite from Shilu showing attractive forest green coloring and a lovely satiny luster that clearly distinguishes them from similarly shaped African material. The piece is in superb condition overall and really looks beautiful up close with the "stacked" layers of the Malachites which built up over time to create the wonderful undulating "spires". The piece almost looks as though it should be something organic because one does not often encounter something with this appearance in a mineral. BETTER in person, and really good quality. The piece comes with a FREE custom lucite base for display. We had this piece priced at $1,750 in the inventory. Pieces like this are seldom available on the market, and I'm told that this locality is now flooded and inaccessible.
