Item Description

Tinest crystallized Rose Quartz specimens in the world are found in Brazil. This partiuclar piece is a superb display specimen featuring gemmy, quality, sharp, very well-formed, lustrous, gorgoues pink color crystals which have formed a wonderful "halo" atop a chunk of uncrystallized Smoky Quartz matrix with minor associated Muscovite Mica. The most imprssive features of the Rose Quartz crystals are the three fold. First, they are incredible defined, sharp, hexagonal prisms and not just a pink mass - this is fine quality crystallized Rose Quartz which is quite rare in nature. Secondly, the size of individual crystals is quite impressive as the largest single crystal measures a full 2.4 cm long! Lastly, the crystals are quite gemmy in areas, which is not often seen in this pink Quartz varietal, as most of the time Rose Quartz is translucent at best, but some of these crystals are nearly water clear! The piece presents beautifully and the Rose Quartz crystals are nearly all pristine. This specimen is about 30 years old, and is a fantastic quality display specimen for anybody who loves Quartz, pegmatite minerals or Brazilian display specimens. Priced at $3,000 in the inventory.
