An extremely fine and pristine flattened floater Azurite rosette or "ball" from this well-known extinct locale. The HIGHLY lustrous, tightly intergrown crystals have rich royal-blue color and compare very favorably with classics from Bisbee or Chessy. A minor bit of mint green Malachite can be seen, giving the piece a wonderful two-tone appearanc.e These are world-class Azurite rosettes and this is superb example. Ex Dr. Steven Smale Collection.
