Item Description

A good displayable miniature sized specimen of Ettringite from arguably the most famous locality (district) for the species. A pronounced hexagonal (trigonal) prism of lemon yellow Ettrinigite is wonderfully associated with reddish Andradite on the side. It's a bit rough on the back, but still a good overall piece of a species that is not often found in attractive display pieces like this. Valued at $500. Ex Charlie Key personal collection. Charlie is arguably the most sucessful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
