Item Description

A classic Kutnohorite and Aragonite association from the well known locality in Tuscany. This piece features soft brown colored Kutnohorite associated with prismatic colorless Aragonite in a crystal-lined vug. This piece comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936. The specimen come with a hand-written label on the bottom of "Perky" box that says it was acquired in 1990.
