Calcite on Chalcopyrite (ex Geary Murdock Collection)

Item Description

A classic Jopling Calcite specimen featuring scalenohedral crystal of a soft-golden hue measuring up to 1.9 cm sitting on iridescent "peacock" colored Chalcopyrite and/or another sulfide. A few Calcites are contacted, but most of them are in good shape. From the worldwide collection of noted Idaho collector Geary Murdock.
