A very attractive specimen from Erongo in the form of a stout, thick, highly lustrous, razor-sharp, well-formed, scepter habit Quartz crystal with semi-skeletal "Fenster" / window faces on the pyramidal termination. The color contrast between the RICH purple hues of the termination and the lightly smoky color stem make an eye-catching effect. The purple is an intense hue, as rich as anything you can find for Amethyst from any locality. The crystal is complete all the way around, but there are some nicks / dings which keep it from being perfect. It displays well and really looks nice from the front.
