Fluorite included in Quartz (doubly-terminated) (ex Michael Garced Collection)

Item Description

A lovely doubly-terminated, slightly smoky colored Quartz crystal plays host to many small, glowing purple octahedral crystals of Fluorite that are completely suspended inside. The Quartz is essentially water clear, and this along with the fact that the Fluorites formed very close to one of the prism faces allows the viewer to clearly see the Fluorites frozen within. The piece is in very good condition with only a little bit of roughenss, though it should be noted that while the piece is doubly-terminated, one end does have a separation mark where another Quartz crytal once grew along with a small patch of oddly crystallized Quartz flaring off.
