Item Description

For some time, "Endlichite" was considered a species, but is now classified as an Arsenic-bearing variety of Vanadinite. This lovely display specimen hosts dozens of classic, VERY lustrous, golden brown colored, almost metallic looking, thin prismatic crystals of "Endlichite" on matrix. The "Endlichite" crystals are hoppered not unlike Pyromorphite crystals, which is distinctive for this mine. A very graceful specimen, and virtually damage free on the display side. The largest crystal measures 7 mm. I have not seen anything in way of these specimens (except in old collections), and every good Mexican collection, should have a nice "Endlichite" like this in them. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #6639). The piece is accompanied by a label from Miguel's personal collection.
