Item Description

Some of the world's finest Hemimorphite specimens have come from the Ojuela Mine in Mexico. These specimens are some of the most aesthetic and eye catching pieces from any Mexican locality. This specimen features good sized, translucent to gemmy, very sharp, rather lustrous, prismatic crystals of Hemimorphite forming a "spray"-shaped group with crystals measuring up to 2.1 cm aesthetically sitting on gossan matrix. For the size, quality and overall aesthetics of this specimen, it is a great Mexican display piece from this classic locality. No damage. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #6901).
