Item Description

From the original "Japan-law" locality for the twinning habit for Quartz, here we have a lovely small cabinet display specimen featuring a very sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, fairly thick, well-formed twin with WATER CLEAR clarity in areas. High quality, pure colorless Quartz in such a lovely form. I can only see the smallest of "chipping" on one of the crystals, and aside from the back where it has a separation mark where it grew against another crystal, the piece is in superb condition. This piece is old, hard to say how far back it dates, but it could be over a century. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #4768 - and another number 219 is attached to the piece, but this is obviously from another collection catalogue).
