Item Description

A beautiful radiating "spray" of stout, sharp, well-formed, "dog-tooth"-shaped crystasl of Calcite of a sandy brown color free of matrix. The crystals are in excellent condition with textbook form and superb luster. I can see a few imperfections, but overall the specimen is in fantastic shape. it displays beautifully as you can see from the photos, and if you collect worldwide Calcites or minerals of Mexico, a piece like this is hard to find on the market, and certainly worth picking up. Valued at $950. From the worldwide collection of Tom Campbell. Tom is a mineralogist and mineral collect who works with us here at The Arkenstone. He has over 35 years of experience in the fields of exploration geology, mining, and applied mineralogy, and has even more years under his belt as a collector!
