Item Description

These specimens are some of the most easily recognizable, dramatic and highly sought after Silver specimens from the Western Hemisphere. This specimen is a great example of this well known material. It features sharp, intergrown / woven wire and octahedral crystals (some are Spinel-law twinned) associated with minor whitish Calcite on matrix. The various habits of Silver are part of what makes Batopilas such a great locality, and if you look closely, this piece is loaded with a variety of habits. These specimens are immediately distinguished from all other Silver specimens around the world for their unique form and appearance. Valued at $1,500. From the worldwide collection of Tom Campbell.
