The pegmatites near the Lake George area of Colorado have produced what most collectors and dealers consider to be the finest Amazonite specimens from the standpoint of superb color, top quality, wonderful display specimens and excellent associations. This particular specimen features a blocky, sharp, well-formed, semi-lustrous, rich blue-green colored single Amazonite crystal. For the size, this piece has fine color and form for the material, and it's HARD to find attractive thumbnails of Amazonite from Colorado. Valued at $500.
