Item Description

A very attractive specimen of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens were few and far between. This specimen hosts good fine quality, velvety, forest-green crystals of Malachite that have altered from Azurite forming an aesthetic display piece. If you look on the back, you can see a bit of UN-altered Azurite, which is not common for this pocket. A very nice small miniature / toenail specimen of this well known material. The largest crystal measures 2.4 cm.
