Fluorite on Siderite (ex Irv Brown Collection)

A lesser seen specimen from Panasqueira featuring stacked, purple cubic groups of Fluorite measuring up to 1.3 cm across which are sitting on beautifully contrasting sharp, lustrous, greenish-brown rhombic Siderite with crystals measuring up to 2.1 cm. Small accenting tan Muscovite and golden metallic Chalcopyrite makes for a great final touch. Good Fluorite specimens from Panasqueira are not often seen on the market, and this colorful association specimen is a wonderful display piece of this classic material. The piece is in great shape overall, and looks BETTER in person than the photos might indicate. A great older specimen of this beloved material.
