A very attractive display thumbnail of the well known, but hard to find Grossulars from Vesper Peak! The group features sharp, gemmy, deep cinnamon-orange color dodecahedra with highly lustrous faces. The color, quality and overall appearance are very good for the material, and the piece is in good condition overall. There periphery is obviously not complete where the piece was removed from the pocket wall, but the center of the specimen is in fine shape. The largest crystal measures 8 mm, which is good sized for Grossular from this area. BETTER IN PERSON - DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH. A beautiful and attractive old-timer from this famous locale.
