Scapolite (GEM quality) (ex Irv Brown Collection)

Item Description

Scapolite is not a species, but is often assigned to gems as it is more recognizable to most collectors. The actual species are Meionite and Marialite. Here we have a fine gem crystal with rich, attrcative yellow color, and sharp, lustrous faces. It is WATER CLEAR through the majority of the crystals and glows with color! This Tanzanian material is fairly new to the market, but already seems to be in very short supply in recent years. This is a great thumbnail and it looks better in person.
