Item Description

Gem quality Anhydrite is only found in a few places around the world, and this is a really attractive rough and cut set from this obscure locality. It features a fairly sharp and rather gemmy, soft silvery-lilac colored crystal with sharp faces and good luster along with attractive internal gemminess. The stone in this set is really attractive as it has a fine quality "Cut Corner Square Brilliant" cut and along with the same soft silvery-lilac color as the crystal, but the fact that it's pretty clean (obviously not 100% gem clarity) is a big deal. I can't stress enough that gems of Anhydrite are rare, and to find a stone that is nearly 4 carats is a big deal. We had this set priced at $900 in the inventory.
