Rinkite (very rare) (rough and cut set)

Rinkite is a very rare sodium calcium cerium titanium silicate and good specimens and gems are seldom seen on the market. The specimen in this rough and cut set a typical piece of Rinkite from Langesundsfjorden, Larvik, Vestfold, Norway but doesn't have any real crystallization to speak of. The gem is a brownish-orange color "Cut Corner Square" stone with a velvety translucent interior. The stone is labeled as coming from Russia. This is rare material folks, and despite the fact that the gem is not water clear, it's still a desirable set for any collector.
