Item Description
Anglesite is only known from a few localities in the world in fine gem crystals, and the specimens from Touissit are regarded as the finest yellow color for the species. This lovely rough and cut set has a good quality, sharp, lustrous, VERY gemmy yellow to colorless "sword"-shaped crystal group along with a lively lemon yellow "Freeform" cut gem with nearly eye clean clarity. Due to the lead content of Anglesite, even smaller gems like this weigh over 1 carat, which is important for rare gem collectors, as stones over 1 carat are considered to be true "collector quality". We had this set priced at $950 in the inventory.
