Item Description

This is a very attractive specimen from Shengus featuring sharp, lustrous, lovely wine-red, Spessartine crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm across associated with a single gemmy, light blue prism of Aquamarine along with beautifully contrasting black Schorl Tourmaline plus lovely golden Muscovite and small white blocky crystals of Albite. For Garnet collectors, this is a great association specimen, and a very worthwhile piece of this well-known material. You just don't see many pieces with such great quality crystals and multiple associations like this from Shengus. Despite the fact that these pieces are fairly well-known on the market, they are some of the best red Spessartines available these days from any locality. Old dealer stock, valued at $1200.
