Fine, sharp, lustrous, grey colored crystals of Stannite measuring up to 5 mm associated with iridescent Chalcopyrite crystals sit on sharp, translucent, prismatic crystals of white to colorless Quartz from the Yaogangxian Mine. Stannite is a rare sulfide of copper, iron and tin. It is collected mainly in not very pretty specimens, as simply a rare and desirable mineral - but on uncommon occasions, you find a specimen that is actually aesthetic as well, like this one. Classic material and very hard to find on the market now.
