Gorgeous sharp gemmy aqua-green colored boracite crystals cover both sides of this sculptural thumbnail The sharp orthorhombic crowning crystal is 4 mm. Boracite is a rare borate with the very finest and richest examples coming from the early to mid 1990s finds at this well-known underground potash mine in England. This specimen is solid boracite. Very attractive. In the light, the Boracites sparkle like a handful of fancy blue-green diamonds.
